PROGRAM: 20 GANDHIS
It took one man using only non-violent means, the leader Gandhi, to change the lives of 300,000,000 people living in India under British rule. Let’s do the math to see how many it would take to change our current world of 8 billion people. Participants explore what it might be like to use our individual and collective power to make a BETTER world.
PROGRAM: PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
At some point, as we pursue our road to happiness, we will reach an intersection where our passion and excellence meet a need in the world, and our life’s work emerges with potential for us to make our greatest impact. We are here to pursue our happiness, not just individually, but as a social imperative. This program encourages participants to uncover how they would like to make an impact.
PROGRAM: USING ART TO IMAGINE AND CREATE NEW VISIONS
We all want our world to be BETTER, but how do we start? Artistic expression activities provide participants opportunities to explore how to imagine and create ways to make the changes they envision for themselves and their community.
PROGRAM: CONNECTION CIRCLES
Through the inspiration of story, directed activities and support of others, participants are motivated to see their own specific talents, abilities and life possibilities in a new, meaningful, and creative light.
PROGRAM: CREATING COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITIES
Humor and storytelling are used to examine the role of compassion in schools and society. Participants acquire tools they can use to build a BETTER community the way they want to see it.
